1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application "Shield VPN: Fast & Simple" (the "App"), available on Google Play.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use our App.

2. No-logs policy

We operate a strict no-logs policy. We do not monitor, record, store, or share the contents of your network traffic, the websites you visit, the apps you use, your DNS queries, your IP address history, or any data you send or receive while connected to the VPN.

3. Information we collect

We may collect the following limited types of data:

Connection diagnostics (aggregated/anonymous): the VPN server location you connect to, connection timestamps, session duration, and total bandwidth used. This is used only to maintain service quality and is not linked to your identity or browsing activity.
Device information: device type, OS version, language, advertising ID, and approximate region (derived from network, not GPS).
Usage data: app usage patterns, crashes, and features used.
Advertising data: data used by Google AdMob to serve ads.
Payment data: handled by Google Play (we do NOT store your card details).

4. How we use your information

To provide core app functionality (establishing a secure VPN connection and routing your traffic).
To select fast, reliable servers and maintain network performance.
To display personalized or non-personalized advertisements via Google AdMob.
To improve app stability and fix crashes via analytics.
To process subscription purchases through Google Play.

5. VPN permission & how the VPN works

To create a secure tunnel, the App uses Android's VpnService permission. This permission allows the App to route your device's network traffic through an encrypted connection. We use this permission solely to provide the VPN service. We do not inspect, log, or sell the contents of your traffic.

6. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Our App displays advertisements using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers, such as the Advertising ID, for personalized ads.

You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings: Settings → Privacy → Ads. Premium subscribers enjoy an ad-free experience.

7. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Our App offers auto-renewing Premium subscriptions via Google Play (for example, weekly, monthly, or yearly plans that unlock premium servers, higher speeds, and remove ads). Payment is processed entirely by Google — we never see or store your payment details.

You can cancel your subscription at any time in your Google Play account settings. If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.

8. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only with trusted service providers required to operate the App, such as Google AdMob (advertising), Google Play (payments), and analytics/crash-reporting tools. These providers process data under their own privacy policies.

9. Data retention

We retain anonymous connection diagnostics only as long as necessary to operate and improve the service. Advertising and analytics data are retained according to Google's own policies.

Withdraw consent at any time
Opt out of personalized advertising

11. Children's privacy

Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
